French Kick was launched in November 2011 by Denis Fontaine, a Belgian designer responsible for the success of several French brands in the world of “Street/Street Fashion”. In 2014 the brand was taken over by FK Productions based in Portugal, with the goal of streamlining the production, and reinforcing the logistic set-up.
FRENCH KICK reaches a young and trendy audience, but above all, it spreads a message of derision and of gentle self-mockery, very slightly provocative but never mean, all of this whilst bringing a sense of glamour ; there is the subtle chemistry we think we manage to bring to our clothes and that some of our competitors struggle to imitate.
FRENCH KICK is also the symbol of succesful young people as well as older people who still manage to rock it. Serious and talented but without taking ourselves too seriously. It is the symbol of people close to their roots, staying true to themselves, open to the world and its inventions. FRENCH KICK is a network of friends, fans and leading gures around Europe ... And even beyond.
FRENCH KICK seems to meet a true demand, of the audience on the one hand, which is already promoting our t-shirts, and of fashion professionals on the other hand, who see in our brand excellents products, adapted in times of economic crisis.
FRENCH KICK has got off to a ying start and is already distributed in about ten countries in Europe (France, Belgium, Spain, Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Poland, Luxemburg, UK, Austria, Germany ... And even in Greenland !) We have signed a license contract for the Northern American distribution.
We managed to attract some of the biggest «department stores» and online shopping websites in Europe and the Middle East (Peek & Cloppenburg/ Ansons and Georgens in Germany, Citadium and Amazon in France, De Bijenkorf in Holland, El Corte Ingles in Spain, Galeries Lafayette Dubai and Middle East etc ...).
Above all else, our clients are our favoured partners, our friends, our ambassadors. They gather around FRENCH KICK people from all backgrounds: trendy, B-boys, skaters, cool, badass, clubbers, dandys ... Our will to go back to the basics of streetwear – a style that has become overelaborate – is shared by more and more of our customers and partners.
The FRENCH KICK adventure is on the move ...
For all that, FRENCH KICK doesn’t stop creating its own products: they are funny, quirky, eighties, nineties, sixties, seventies, fties ...Fourties ...
FRENCH KICK is nerd, FRENCH KICK is geek, FRENCH KICK is beautiful ... or not, but FRENCH KICK is fresh.
Our purpose is to offer to our clients, our friends and our partners clothes that they won’t have from elsewhere. JOIN US
